Welcome to the web site of the Salthill Knocknacarra branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
Translating as the ‘Society of the Musicians of Ireland’, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann is a non-profit cultural movement dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the music, song, dance and language of Ireland. The Salthill Knocknacarra branch furthers these aims in the west of Galway city and suburbs. We provide music classes in multiple instruments, for all age groups and for all levels. We also host regular music sessions and take part in various cultural events in Galway city.
